Besides is an inspirational book, The Alchemist also have the value of literary. from the characters, plot, setting, morality, and also theme, it's all containing a literary value. It is not just a book but it is a book which can show us how to not giving up on our dream and still, the value of morality is mentioned on every chapter of this book.

Great point! I am curious to know if anyone has developed a curriculum guide for this book, yet?

I am a tenth grader but i am also a year behind the rest of my classmates. before you judge, i am very capable of discussing such a book. the alchemist was not just a book though. it was a journey. it reflected back on my life even though short lived it was and is something to talk about. for me, the book might be perceived differently since most of you guys probably already fulfilled your personal legend or missed your chance. for me there is still time. paulo coelho told me not to give up and i wont.
